The West Suburban Art Society was founded in 2018 for the purpose of providing opportunities and experiences to members of our community in arts education by participating in the arts of all media and by encouraging and promoting adult education in the fine arts. WSAS is an Illinois 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation. See our bylaws.
Membership Letter and Application Form
We welcome all who have an interest in the arts to join West Suburban Art Society, an IRC 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
A fee of $40 includes nine lectures given by members. These begin on October 2, 2024. Approximately four luncheon/programs will kick off on September 18, 2024 and a tour of the Mayslake Peabody Estate, on April 9, 2025, will have separate fees. Lecture Series
For the 2024-25 program year, WSAS will offer nine Wednesday lectures presented by WSAS members on five different days at Glendale Lakes Golf Club in Glendale Heights. The 2024-25 Lecture Series theme is “Folk Arts and Crafts of the Americas”. The series begins on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
Address and times: Lectures generally have two speakers and are from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Our convenient venue is Glendale Lakes Golf Club, 1550 President Street, Glendale Heights. Doors open for members at 12:30.

WSAS COVID Policy
WSAS will comply with federal, state and local COVID protocol as it relates to masking, social distancing and capacity. The current DuPage County guidelines strongly recommend the following: COVID vaccinations and masking when appropriate. Please stay home if you are not feeling well.

Directions from the south (in Glen Ellyn)
1) From Geneva Road, turn north on Bloomingdale Road
2) Turn left on E. Fullerton Avenue
3) Turn left onto President Street
4) Pass Glendale Heights Public Library on left
5) Glendale Lakes Golf Club is on the right
Directions from the west (in Wheaton)
1) Go north on Main Street which turns into Schmale Road
2) Turn right on East Fullerton Avenue
3) Turn right on President Street
4) Glendale Lakes Golf Club will be on the right
Directions from all points east
1) Go west on North Avenue to President Street (2.8 miles west of I-355)
2) Turn north on President Street for .8 miles
3) Glendale Lakes Golf Club will be on the left
Luncheons, Tea Party and Tours
WSAS will also provide three luncheons, a tea party, an Arts Associates Program at the MAC at the College of DuPage, and a tour of the Mayslake Peabody Estate in the 2024-25 season. All luncheons include entertainment programs.
Registration: All luncheons/programs and the tour require registration. Details will be sent via email, giving the registration time period, cost and any needed details. Our email will come from West Suburban Art Society and members should add this to their email contacts along with our email address: info@wsartsociety.org. This will help ensure email is delivered correctly. If you use Microsoft email, add us to your Safe Senders list. G-Mail users may need to look in their Promotions email as well as their Primary email.
Confirmation of Registration: Email or telephone confirmations will be sent to all who register before the deadline. (If you do not receive a confirmation by the Monday, before our program, please feel free to contact registration.)

Guest Policy
For the 2024-25 season, members may invite guests to the lecture series. The fee will be $5 per guest at each lecture.
