Join us on the WSAS day trip to Milwaukee. We will first tour the Milwaukee Art Museum with its 30,000 works of art collected over 125 years. The museum’s architecture itself consists of three buildings, each of them works of art themselves, designed by Eero Saarinen, David Kahler, and Santiago Calatrava, who designed the 217-foot wingspan that unfolds and folds twice daily. There will be considerable walking and standing so you will want to wear comfortable shoes.
Lunch will be at the renown Harbor House in the Captain’s Room overlooking Lake Michigan. In the afternoon we will visit the early 15th century Saint Joan of Arc Chapel on Marquette University’s campus and also learn how it got there. Full registration information here.
